Startup Groups

I’m a member of the following groups or have taken part in these programmes.

All are great organisations to be involved with if you’re a London based tech startup.

If you want to get involved in any of these and want an intro, get in touch.

The Zoo Project

The Zoo Project is a commercial support programme run by Europe’s largest affiliate network, Tradedoubler. HipSnip is one of only around 10 companies to have won a place on this.

It’s not just a chance from the company to develop commercially, but also for the founders to be at the heart of one of the world’s best performance marketing companies and learn directly from their top executives.

Springboard, London 2012

HipSnip is one of the companies on the London 2012 Springboard programme.

“Springboard is a mentorship-led accelerator program for startups.

We provide seed capital, office space and – most importantly – that magical ingredient of “smart-community” with mentors and other entrepreneurs.”

Startup Leadership Programme

I graduated from the 2012 programme.

“The Startup Leadership Program (SLP) is a highly selective, world-class training program for outstanding founders, leaders and innovators who are or want to be startup CEOs, and be connected to a global network.”

Startup MAFIA

The Startup MAFIA is the Mobile Application Founders In Alliance. A group of London based startups with a mobile product who get together from time to time to discuss issues and help each other out.

Launch 48 Launchpad programme

I took part in the inaugral (and to date only) 12 week mentoring programme run by the fine fellows at Launch48. Hopefully they’ll run another one some time. I was joined on this by Bluefields (a 500 Startups company)  and MinuteBase (the best minute taking application on the web).

Launch48 is a super fun weekend to design, build and launch a company (yes, company, it’s not just a hackathon!)
